Country Clipper's enhanced, highly responsive Joystick steering offers true zero-turn performance.

Expect positive response on your new Charger mower with our revolutionary easy-to-use Joystick feature or traditional dual lever. Dual hydrostatic transmissions and solid mechanical linkage provide true zero turn radius control with the ability to counter-rotate the driving wheels on demand.

The highly responsive Joystick with solid mechanical linkage offers fingertip control of both direction and speed. It’s easy to learn, makes mowing fun, and you sit more naturally. Not only does it give you complete control over ground speed and direction of travel for full 360° turns with just one hand, it leaves your other hand free to move obstacles or make on-the-go adjustments. It's a combination that can't be beat for comfort and reduced operator fatigue. It's natural. Just point.... and go!

Proven Performance

The Charger utilizes twin-cylinder Kawasaki or Kohler power-plants from 25.5-hp to 27-hp. There’s plenty of power to speed through the big jobs at up to 10.5-mph, or to pour on the power to plow through acres of tall grass in no time. Whatever your need or your application, there’s a Country clipper model that’s a perfect fit.

 

Versatile Cutting Decks

• Country Clipper’s revolutionary Stand-up Deck makes underside access for maintenance and cleaning a breeze. Cut widths include: 52" and 60".
  
• Each deck is fabricated with welded reinforced steel … not just stamped into a shape. Included are a tough bullnose front, high impact anti-scalp rollers, and 11/8” spindle shafts with cast iron housings.
  
• The Charger features a Pivoting Front Axle & Deck system. The deck moves in sync with the pivoting front axle to follow ground contours.

 

Tri-Port Deck by Country Clipper

Next Generation in Cutting Design

The deep 5" deck shell and three distinct cutting chambers align and channel clippings into the Material Flow Port producing excellent dispersion and a beautifully manicured lawn.

Tri-Port Deck Technology utilizes three individual cutting chambers and discharge paths to greatly reduce windrowing and clumping. The Special Baffle Design improves suction, lift, and velocity for a superior cut and natural striping. The Material Flow Port and Wider Chute align clippings from each port for improved dispersal, while using less horsepower due to more efficient air flows. Country Clipper's Mulch Kit uses special baffling and can be used with the Tri-Port Deck to return valuable nutrients to the lawn. Performs exceptionally well in Bahai Grass.

 

Drive Systems

• Big 23” or 24” drive tires provide increased traction on firm turf, a distributed surface to protect soft turf, and overall stability on grades.
  
• Each Charger uses a powerful Kawasaki V-twin or Kohler Command Pro engine from 25.5 hp to 27 hp.
  
• Commercial pump & wheel motor hydrostatic transmissions are supported by an oil cooler.
